Rhetorical Précis

In her online article “ Free Speech Does Not Protect Cyberharassment” (2014), Danielle Citron reports that online perpetrators should be criminally prosecuted. Citron supports her claim by summarizing all the criminal charges online perpetrators can be accused of and the use of forensic expertise and warrants to track down individuals. Her purpose is to inform the reader that with any of these trolls are caught they could be in really big trouble in order to keep the people safe and a feeling of relief. Her intended audience seems to be young parents who have kids that don't know the meaning of a troll.
