Why Troll?

 Why would one person become a troll?  To me the only reason why person might troll  is because maybe they are being hurt.  Therefore since they are hurt they want others to feel their pain.  For me it would be hard to troll someone else anonymously that I do not even know.  My question is why would you hurt  someone else's feelings if they did absolutely nothing to you?  I learned that the trolls favorite target are females.  Since they are more weak the trolls will continue to attack.  They will keep on doing this until they are satisfied. Trolling will exist as long as the Internet continues to run.  There are many ways to fight back against a troll.  The most common method is blocking the user,  but they could create another account and continue to troll.  That is why the  most effective way to stand up to a troll is to stand up to it face-to-face.  In the Lindy west article she told the story on how she was being attacked by a troll.  Later she confronted her troll and at the end the troll apologize for what he had done.  This is how trolling situations should be handled.  On the other hand, not all trolls give up without a fight.  They will continue to say mean things to you as long as it keeps you sad or unhappy.
